How do you choose a limousine service?

Always - Always check to make sure a limousine company is DOT licensed and insured. Any company crossing a state line in a vehicle (at any point since opening - not just during your run) that holds more than 9 customers must be DOT licensed. This is easy to check with the Internet. Just go to http://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/CompanySnapshot.aspx . It is the Department of Transportation's web site. Select the "name" button, and then type in the name of the company you are considering (for example, type in "A Motortoys" to see us).

We have the DOT numbers for most companies - if you can't find a company on the DOT site searching by name, you might find them searching by DOT number. Call us - we might have it for another company. We're happy to help (of course, if they aren't showing up, it may be because they aren't DOT licensed).

Once you've found a company on the DOT's site, click on "licensing & Insurance" in the top right corner. Then click on "Report"

If their authority is "active, and they have insurance, they are DOT legal.
